The International Bathtub regatta is made up of a mess of buoyant, ahem, well, bathtubs. The bathtubs are made from scratch, decorated and designed by bathtub engineers (anyone can participate and build their own). These fascinating vessels make for an interesting contest to about 20,000 spectators. Sort of like a bathroom excursion. See how it all went down last week on August 15th. Video at break.

Now think about the adrenaline that's gushing around your body while you run from a ton pound beast with knives on it head. Ridiculously satisfying! but when one plays the game one pays the price. Unfortunately in the last chapter of San Fermin's Pamplona’s festival, 4 runners get the horn from the soon-to-be-slaughtered animal in Spain. Though the scars may be better than any local travel trinket you may bring home, but at what price?

A man was gored to death in the fourth encierro at Pamplona’s running of the bulls. Daniel Jimeno Romero, 27, from Alcala de Henares, was gored in the neck and lung as he was trying to get to a protective barrier during the run. Romero was on vacation with his parents and his girlfriend, according to the Associated Press.

But hey what are a few scars and a life anyway...it's all about the adventure, right? yeah...I'll take my chances in the ghetto.

Yes, you've heard right. As of Thursday morning, the world famous Sears Tower in Chicago, Illinois has changed its name to Willis Tower [at least that's what the tower's newest main tenant wishes to believe: London, England-based insurance broker Willis Group Holdings].  Sometimes change may be good, but really?

Not everyone is taking to the name change so very lightly.  On Facebook alone, over 90,000 people have joined the group "People Against the Sears Tower Name Change"; 34,000 of which have already signed a petition against the new name.   One blogger on said site even wrote: “I asked a cabdriver to take me to the Willis tower. He said, 'Where the hell is that?’”

On the other hand, I wonder if my daddy’s credit cards could buy me the chance to name the Eiffel Tower after myself… hmm.

If the prescription to cure a limp relationship is to discover newfound ways to spice things up, then this brazen couple hit the mark.

Hhm, So we're going to have to tell you where it is, but promise us you won't go (psst, and if you do, take pictures!) Tristan da Cunha is a cluster of volcanic islands in the south Atlantic Ocean, 1,750 miles from the nearest land: South Africa. It's also the name of the main island, which is 38 square miles in size. The British officially colonized the islands around the 1800s, and are still there to this day.

Tip 2. Keep on paths. If you think on hiking, remain on paths. It's an obvious tip but some people like to go off-roading and that's when the magic happens: spider bites, a hell of alot more mosquitoes bites...and more bites in general...

Just the other day my girlfriend and I took our weekendly walk around our neighborhood of Coconut Grove, and spotted this elegant man standing at a corner. But me think me brain had a hard time putting the obvious triangle shaped wood block into the circular hole - things weren't matching up.

My recourse was to take a picture and examine it for later discussion.
